Honor in Treason A great melancholy track with a good message. Nice instrumentation, and passionate vocals. Really like the guitar solos and fade out ending. Favorite track: Sleeper.

about

pre-release single for upcoming record. This is my solo work. This song is about someone, anyone, that is struggling to find the energy it takes to embrace life. We all suffer and we must endure the pain to find a better life, no matter our condition. I know this because I was the subject of this song for many years as I struggled with pain and disability. We simply must go on.

I am an illustrator and I produced the track art as well.

lyrics

Sleeper

She sleeps the day away
as the day had never came
A waits for something
that never will begin
So warm this summer morning
But the daylight
never makes it in

Shadows
fold up all the corners
like blankets
that
cover up the bed
The light out side
is waiting
But you must rise
and let it in

Sleeper
Dream this day away
Sleeper
Nothing in this world
Will change unless you wake
So warm this summer morning
But the daylight
never makes it in
